The $10 Charter Trip License is good for 3 consecutive days. You can get it by phone at 1-888-765-2602 or online at Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (online is the preferred choice).
You will also need ice chest(s) to transport your filets in once we have cleaned and bagged your catch.
Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). Please note that there is a 3% surcharge on all credit card transactions.
A $400 deposit per boat per day or 50% of your total charter trip is due at time of booking. I will hold your reserved date(s) for one week to allow your deposit check to arrive. At that time I will firmly lock in your date(s).
Your guide will determine whether or not to cancel due to weather. If you have to cancel without giving 30 days notice you will forfeit your deposit. You cannot call a week ahead of time and cancel your trip, although exceptions will be made for certain circumstances. If you give me at least 30 days notice we will gladly credit your deposit to a future charter. If the weather is fish-able on that day, the trip is a go.
